About me

Hey there!

My name is Asbjørn Guldager, and I am a Danish sound designer, sound engineer, and visual artist based in Kolding.

My fascination with sound began in my teens, when I first started experimenting with recording and manipulating audio on my computer. What began as playful curiosity quickly grew into a passion for exploring how sound can shape emotion, atmosphere, and storytelling.

In 2022, I attended Engelsholm Højskole, where I studied electronic music and audiovisual arts. This gave me the chance to immerse myself fully in creative exploration, and it became the stepping stone for pursuing sound professionally. Today, I am studying for a bachelor’s degree in sound design at Sonic College, where I continue to refine my technical skills in audio production and sound design.

Alongside my studies, I work as a live sound engineer. I have had the privilege of working with Roskilde Festival, Engelsholm Events, and the Danish Pavilion at the Paris Olympics 2024. These experiences have allowed me to combine creativity with technical precision while collaborating on projects of many different scales.

What excites me most about sound is its ability to add texture and depth to stories. Whether it’s crafting immersive environments, designing subtle details, or ensuring the perfect live mix. I like sound because it’s both practical and creative — you’re solving problems and shaping an experience at the same time.
